II National Symposium on Biorrefineries

Description

The National Symposium on Biorefineries is a biannual meeting that aims to promote the debate regarding the potential and challenges of the biorefineries in order to contribute to the green economy development.

With an estimated public of 300 professionals, the symposium will bring together people from research institutions, government, technical assistance, Brazilian universities and other countries.

The proposed theme is related to the following segments: bio-chemical, fine chemical, biotechnology and pulp and paper. Topics of discussion are:

i) raw material
ii) Advances in the production processes
iii) advances in techniques and analytical methods
iv) economic potential of new products and their sustainability.
